Tony Gilroy's Star Wars series follows Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, across the five years before Rogue One as a petty thief from a mining colony is hardened into a rebel operative while the Empire tightens its grip. Stellan Skarsgard plays the rebel organizer Luthen Rael, Genevieve O'Reilly returns as Senator Mon Mothma, and Denise Gough and Kyle Soller play the Imperial officers hunting him. Its two seasons on Disney+ earned the strongest reviews of any Star Wars television project for treating the franchise as a political drama about how resistance movements form.
