Inside Out
2015
Pete Docter's Pixar film takes place largely inside the head of eleven-year-old Riley, where five personified emotions run the controls as her family's move to San Francisco throws everything off balance. Amy Poehler voices Joy, Phyllis Smith is Sadness, and Bill Hader, Lewis Black, and Mindy Kaling play Fear, Anger, and Disgust. It won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and is widely used by parents and teachers to talk with kids about feelings.
