Timothy Olyphant plays Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, a quick-drawing lawman reassigned to his native Harlan County, Kentucky, where his old coal-mining partner Boyd Crowder, played by Walton Goggins, has become the region's most inventive criminal. Adapted by Graham Yost from Elmore Leonard's story "Fire in the Hole," the FX series ran six seasons through 2015 and earned praise for its dialogue and its sympathetic portrait of Appalachia.
