Ron Clements and John Musker, the directors of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, tell the story of a Polynesian chief's daughter who sails beyond the reef to find the demigod Maui and restore a stolen heart to the goddess Te Fiti. Newcomer Auli'i Cravalho voices Moana and Dwayne Johnson voices Maui, with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa'i, and Mark Mancina. This is the original 2016 animated film, distinct from the 2026 live-action remake also in the catalog.
