Jason Bateman stars as Marty Byrde, a Chicago financial planner who moves his family to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri to launder money for a Mexican cartel after a scheme goes wrong. Laura Linney plays his wife Wendy, who proves more ruthless than he is, and Julia Garner won three Emmys as the local criminal Ruth Langmore. Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, the Netflix drama ran four seasons and ended in 2022.
