Amy Poehler stars as Leslie Knope, a relentlessly upbeat mid-level bureaucrat in the parks department of Pawnee, Indiana, in the mockumentary comedy from Greg Daniels and Michael Schur. Nick Offerman plays her boss Ron Swanson, a libertarian who believes government should do as little as possible, and the cast includes Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe, and Adam Scott. It ran seven seasons on NBC through 2015 and became one of the most quoted sitcoms of its decade.
