Steven Spielberg tells the true story of Oskar Schindler, a German businessman and Nazi party member who spent a fortune buying Jewish workers onto a factory roster and out of the camps. Liam Neeson plays Schindler, Ben Kingsley plays his accountant Itzhak Stern, and Ralph Fiennes plays the camp commandant Amon Goeth. Shot almost entirely in black and white by Janusz Kaminski, it remains one of the most widely seen films ever made about the Holocaust.
