Eric Kripke's series follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who crisscross America in a 1967 Chevy Impala hunting demons, ghosts, and eventually angels and gods while trying to keep each other alive. Misha Collins joined in season four as the angel Castiel. It ran fifteen seasons on The WB and The CW from 2005 to 2020, the longest run of any American fantasy series, and built one of television's most devoted fan communities.
